Creative Meditation Watch Vision: A set apart time for a group of creative people to dive deep into a small portion of scripture and press in to the Lord to receive deeper revelation. This being done through meditating on the scripture using the creative gifts God has given them (Writing, Movement, and Art).
Definition of Scripture Meditation: Meditation is a planned repetition of a scripture verse(s) or phrase(s) by which a person's spirit is deepened in God. This act of discipline is intentional, walked out by faith, and moving toward a fresh encounter with Christ. (Kirk Bennett)

Why Creative Meditation? Exodus 31:3-5, "and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft."
Ways to meditate during this time:
Writing: Journal, Song Writing, Poetry, Spoken Word, etc. Psalm 45:1 [Living Bible] "My heart is over flowing with a beautiful thought! I will write a lovely poem to the King, for I am as full of words as the speediest writer pouring out his story."
Movement: Pacing, Dancing Psalm 149:3 - "Let them praise his name with dancing."
Art: Drawing, Coloring, Painting, Mixed Media, Sculpting, etc. Genesis 1:1 - "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Isaiah 64:8 - " We are the clay, and you are the potter; we are the work of your hand."
